Moretta grew up in the Victoria area and obtained her B.Sc. in Biology from UVic in 2005. She has worked in the RBCM Natural History Collections since 2004 and spent several years instructing a variety of biology labs at UVic prior to joining the RBCM staff. Her responsibilities include maintaining the invertebrate, fish, reptile and amphibian collections.
