This policy allows for expansion into the areas in the permanent exhibits where non-flash photography by our general visitors will be permitted for personal and educational uses to include the First Peoples Gallery.

The decision does not permit commercial use of images. In those cases separate permission is required from the RBCM and we would consult with the holder of the cultural copyright prior to any approval.

The policy statement also permits sketching limited to pencil and pen for personal and educational use.
