Traditional place of assembling in this
season. About 30-40 of them. 500 feet from rocky shoreline in water,
with floating kelp and sea weed. Tide is low. Wigeon and mallard mixed
in with some of the oldsquaw. Birds alight on the water at time and
are noisy, diving and chasing and "singing." |
