"Hey Folks, Dee Byrd here. I'll be your feathered host as we explore the world of British Columbia's songbirds."

"Let me suggest that you start by taking a look at my own personal guide to Who's Who guide in the songbird world. Here I have highlighted important info about some of my more popular friends, including how to recognize them, what they eat, where they live and more.

You should also check out Where's that Bird you Heard? map Here you'll find a map of BC that you can use to find out who's rocking in the Rockies or crooning on the Coast. It's a list of every buddy of mine from east to west and north to south in the whole province.

And for you teachers out there, you won't want to miss the Teacher's Guide activitiesIt's full of some of my favourite activities for you and your students.

Oh, and about the symbols that you'll find throughout this program ...You're probably thinking: 'Hey Dee, what can these be?'
