Nlaka'pamux traditional clothing incorporates materials from a complex variety of plants and animals in the Thompson River area, a Grasslands / Dry Forests interface, as well as imported items such as shells and beads. The clothing shown here was made at Spences Bridge in the early twentieth century but is based on earlier garment styles and types.
