• Expand and grow our collections so that the history of BC is available to all of us to see and explore.

• Support world class research that is beginning to answer significant questions about biodiversity and potential effects of climate change.

• Share our knowledge and collections with children and families from all over the province.

• Develop new exhibitions to help further everyone’s understanding of our province.

Community support is essential for us to help tell BC’s story. Many people assume that, as BC’s provincial museum and archives, we are fully funded by the Provincial Government. In fact, we raise about 1/3 of our budget by ourselves. If you would like to contribute to the Royal BC Museum and to the telling of the story of BC, we would welcome your help.
