Museum’s Choice: Fossil Favourites from Across Canada

The Royal BC Museum was the first venue for this national travelling exhibition, modest in size though spanning millions of years, a collaboration of the Alliance of Natural History Museums of Canada (ANHMC).

Each of the eleven participating natural history museums contributed one superlative, celebrated fossil, representing significant discoveries and research at its home institution.

The exhibition is now on tour across Canada, stopping at:

  • Royal Saskatchewan Museum, Regina - Nov. 15, 2017 to Jan. 31, 2018
  • Canadian Museum of Nature. Ottawa - March 1. 2018 to May 31, 2018
  • Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History, Halifax - July 1, 2018 to Sept. 30, 2018  
  • New Brunswick Museum, Saint John - Nov. 1, 2018 to Jan. 31, 2019
  • Manitoba Museum, Winnipeg - March 1, 2019 to May 31, 2019
  • YK Beringia Interp. Centre, Whitehorse - July 1, 2019 to Sept. 30, 2019
  • Royal Alberta Museum, Edmonton - Nov. 1, 2019 to Jan. 31, 2020
