Membership FAQs

Current Member Extension & Renewals

  • I am a Royal BC Museum member; will my membership be extended due to the museum closure?

All memberships that were active during the closure will be extended by the appropriate amount of time. This is calculated based on the expiry date of the membership and our re-open date. For example, if your membership expired March 31, 2020, your new expiry date will be July 31, 2020. All memberships will expire on the last day of the expiry month.

  • How do I receive my membership extension?

Membership extensions will be processed automatically by June 25, 2020. You will be notified via email once this has happened.

  • Will guest passes with an expiry date during the closure also be extended?

  • I renewed my membership before my expiry date, will I still receive the two guest passes for renewing on time?

If you renewed your membership on-time, you will receive the two free guest passes. If your membership has lapsed, you will not receive the two guest passes.
