Advancement and Database Coordinator

The Royal BC Museum is one of Canada’s great cultural icons attracting millions of visitors each year, onsite and online.  We are a significant provincial and national institution charged with researching, collecting, preserving and exhibiting the historical evidence of British Columbia.  As an educational institution, the museum looks to strengthen society through cultural and scientific understanding – helping to create the society of the future.   And what a future we have! 

Our ideal candidate has 3 years of experience in an administrative support role with education that supplements the work (event management, administration, marketing, fundraising).  You will also have 2 or more years of experience with fundraising database administration and managing donor records using your in-depth Raiser’s Edge experience.  Your experience includes working with donors, executives, senior community leaders and volunteers.   You are fully adept using the suite of Microsoft Office products.  You fully understand and demonstrate the ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion, collaboration and teamwork.  The position is pivotal in supporting a positive and productive office culture and is often the front-line contact for the department with key internal contacts and external constituencies
