Music at the Museum: The Pandora Chorus

The Pandora Chorus is a non-auditioned indie pop rock choir, founded in 2015 by director Glenna Garramone. The Pandora Chorus  makes music and harmony together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. They will be singing songs from their Fall session, including songs by Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Journey, and more! Accompanied on keyboard by Brooke Maxwell.

Join us for this free performance in the main lobby of the museum.

Enjoy the carillon music performed by Provincial Carillonneur Rosemary Laing and join the Newcombe Choir as they lead the carol singing. Beyond Stonehenge: Camosun College Pop-up Exhibit

Though the reasons behind Stonehenge's construction remain a mystery, evidence suggests it served as a site for the interment of cremated remains for at least 500 years. As Winter Solstice approaches, join students from Camosun College’s Anthropology of Death class for an insightful exploration into burial traditions and landscapes of the dead (necrogeographies). Kids Art Class: Miniature Stonehenge

Journey into the world of ancient mysteries in this art class. Young artists will embark on an adventure by first visiting the feature exhibition Stonehenge to learn all about the incredible history and secrets of this ancient place.

Back in the classroom, our experienced instructor will guide students step-by-step in creating their very own Stonehenge landscape, followed by a miniature stone megalith. This hands-on activity will inspire creativity and offer a unique way to explore one of history’s most fascinating structures.
