Women made dresses, moccasins, gloves, leggings, war shirts, jackets and robes, often decorated with beautiful beadwork designs. They helped to prepare and tan hides, particularly muskrat and beaver, and were very proud of their craftsmanship in preparing the white and smoked buckskin.
