Museum Happy Hour: Press Record

Tired of the same old thing? Why not come to the Royal BC Museum after work and try something new!

Bring your friends the last three Thursdays in November for a casual evening at the museum. Enjoy a drink while you lounge or explore the galleries and take part in an activity.

This week's theme is "Press Record". What do oral histories reveal about our past? Take your place in history and record your own interview. Enjoy home movies from our Archives and original new recordings made by students in Anthropology of Sound at the University of Victoria. Bring your own portable music player and headphones for a silent disco experience when we turn the Farm into a mobile club scene at 6:30 pm.

About the event:

- This event takes place in the Becoming BC permanent galleries and Our Living Languages only.
- A cash bar will feature white wine and beer for $7 a glass. Debit, credit and cash accepted.

This is a 19+ only event. Valid photo ID is required for entry. To ensure the safety of our guests and museum collections alike, Security will conduct ID, bag and spot checks at the entrance.
